Infertility is the inability to conceive within one year of regular "make a love" without the use of contraceptives. Infertility is not always a woman's problem.
- In 20 to 30 per cent of cases, both partners have fertility problems.
- In 30 per cent cases, infertility is due to the man; low sperm count, no sperm, or sperm that are too weak to fertilise the egg.
- In 30 per cent of cases, the problem list with the women-endometriosis, ovulation, dysfuction, hormonal imbalance, ovarian cysts and blocked fallopian tubes
- The remaining 10 per cent of cases are due to unknown causes.
